This was a poster I created to commemorate Burt Rutan's Space Ship One winning the X-Prize contest. It was also one of several images I created for a book proposal (that was unfortunately rejected). There is also a poster with just Space Ship One.

As usual when I do this sort of thing, I drew the line pass in Flash, and then painted it in Photoshop.
